Restaurant review

We like to try new restaurants either in London or when we travel so I will keep you updated with our experiences and give a review on the ones we like and the ones we don't!

The Greyhound with Greedies
I know this is not really a restaurant but this gastro pub in Kew Green always try to accommodate us when we show up for a meal and drinks without calling in advance. There was even two options on the menu. Well most places in London are ok with preparing vegan menus if you call them in advance but it's nice to know that there places that don't turn their noses at you because you want vegan food. Definitely thumbs up for this one!

Tibits
I absolutely love the food and the juices at Tibits, the restaurant is stylish and cool, such a place you like to hang out on a warm day. My favourite, and when I say that is because I always have at least two when we go there, is the Fitness juice made of apple, fennel and lemon. It's from heaven!!!

Falafel it's not my favourite thing in the world, but the ones they do there are to die for. Definitely a thumbs up!

The Gate Restaurant
We went to The Gate Restaurant for the first time on Wednesday 13th July with the Vegan Meetup group, also our first event with them. We had a great time and although the food was good, it was not great especially when compared with their prices.

They offered us a selection on Mezze and I have to say that the artichoke tempura was divine. As I mains we both had the Wild mushroom risotto cake (they veganised it for us) and it was disappointing.

The desert on the other hand was really good, Neni had the Summer pudding which was summer on a plate, refreshing and light and I had the Apple rhubarb & ginger crumble which was also really good.

I would be happy to go there again and try other dishes so at the end is thumbs up!

222 Veggie Vegan Restaurant
Lovely surprise, this restaurant is definitely one to go back. We went there last Saturday (05/05) and at lunch time they offer all you can eat for £7.50 and so we did, the food is simple but extremely well prepared.  According to their website at 222 everything they serve is totally vegan and freshly prepared using natual wholefood ingredients. So here goes the tip. Thumbs up for this one!!
