Vegan Drinks - I came across this website and found it very useful. You can see if you favourite drink is vegan and the ones that are not. Have a look - http://www.veggiewines.co.uk/index.htm
Food on the go - next time you go to a music festival or a fair in the UK check on the Goodness Gracious Healthy Foods stall, their burgers are from heaven. I can’t recommend it enough!! We went to the London Green Fair Regents Park on the 09/06/12 and had the organic tofu burger and the veggie burger (both vegans) and they are simply divine. Here goes a few picture of me and Neni having them.

Let’s start with the basics. What is veganism?
Veganism is the practice of abstaining from meat and the use of any kind of animal products.
The term "vegan" was coined in England in 1944 by Donald Watson, co-founder of the British Vegan Society, to mean "non-dairy vegetarian"; the society also opposed the consumption of eggs. In 1951, the society extended the definition of "veganism" to mean "the doctrine that man should live without exploiting animals," and in 1960 H. Jay Dinshan started the American Vegan Society, linking veganism to the Jain concept of ahimsa, the avoidance of violence against living things.
People normally ask me and in most cases answer their own question
– What do you eat? Plants?
The answer to that is – a lot more than you do (no offence)!!!!
Vegans, vegetarians and raw vegans tend to be a lot more creative in the
kitchen and with their shopping list. Believe me there is a lot more out there
than meat, cheese and milk and with the no cruelty bonus.Vegans use to say that if factory farmings and slaughterhouses were made of glass walls no one would ever eat meat or dairy products ever again because off course most people don’t want to cause unnecessary suffer to a sentient being, well there are few crazy people out there, right?
